The Fundamental Errors of Catholic Easter |
|
One of the biggest arguments in the church today is that of the calendar. Old Calendarists, often viewed as extremists, argue that the old calendar is the proper calendar – with the New Calendarists arguing that the old Calendarists are just “out of date” - “backwards”. The Old Calendarists have had a number of arguments for why the old calendar is correct – but none that pointed out the fundamental flaw of the new calendar and the argument that supported the change. As a result, all New Calendarists have to do is bring up the argument of accuracy.
The origin of this argument comes from the Roman Catholic creation of a new calendar, because they believed the old (Julian/Roman) calendar was incorrect – leading to an incorrect celebration of “Easter”. This new concern of the Roman church, was during a period of crusade and inquisition, in which the Gospel was the only Truth and heretics were condemned to death. The Pope, the new head of the Church, assumed his position as the Vicar of Christ (defined as He who takes the place of Christ). This was condemned by St. Photios (820 – 891), but the Romans only viewed the Bible as the Truth, discarding and dismissing the works of the Fathers. However, this view (as are the other views which lead to the fundamental arguments of the new calendar) is fundamental flawed. “Luke 21; “8: And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.” This also was ignored and a position of self-righteousness clouded the judgment and vision of the Roman church. In the name of Christ (and God) it set about on a campaign to cleans the world. Another fundamental flaw; “John 16, “2: They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. 3: And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. ”
In their blindness, they executed anyone who dared to contradict the authority of church. To ensure their correctness – and absolute truth – schools were set up to study the turth. This is where they found a flaw in the calendar and in the dates Easter was celebrated – so a new calendar was created to “correct” this problem. However, although the church adopted this calendar, as the correct calendar, it was fundamentally useless. The scientific reasons were explain by Gauss and his study of experimental accuracy. (See The APiS Journal 2004, Introduction to Astronomy – currently offline.) This is of no real concern for the church, because what resulted produced another major flaw. This year Catholic Easter fell on passover. In years past, it has fallen before passover. In direct contradiction to the Last Supper, which was Christ's passover meal with the disciples! Luke 22; “1: Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. 2: And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. ” Luke 22; (The last supper was the passover meal) “7: Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. 8: And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. 9: And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? 10: And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. 11: And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? 12: And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. 13: And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. 14: And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. 15: And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: 16: For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17: And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: 18: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. 19: And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20: Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. 21: But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. 22: And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! ”
